Removal and installation of the sensor of temperature of cooling liquid (ECT)

Details of installation of the ECT sensor on diesel models


 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Details of installation of the ECT sensor are shown on an illustration to which all references which are found in the text belong.
  2. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.
  3. Remove panels of finishing of the power unit.
  4. Remove the air distributor (see the Head of the Power supply system and production of the fulfilled gases).
  5. Merge cooling liquid from a radiator (see the Head of the Power supply system and production of the fulfilled gases).
  6. Disunite the contact socket of an electrical wiring (1), release a clamp (2) and remove the ECT (B11/4) sensor.
  7. Installation is made upside-down.
  8. In conclusion fill the cooling system and check its components for existence of signs of development of leaks.
