 PERFORMANCE ORDER

In total самоконтрящиеся bolts and nuts are subject to replacement without fail!

  1. The design of a steering column is shown on an illustration to which all references which are found in the text belong.
  2. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.
  3. Remove a steering wheel (32) and a spiral contact drum (A45) (see the Section Removal and installation of a steering wheel and a spiral contact drum of a steering column).
  4. Remove the combined switch (S4) (see the Head Onboard electric equipment).
  5. Remove a combination of devices (see the Head Onboard electric equipment).
  6. Disunite the socket (a) of the adjusting lever.
  7. On models with AT remove from the lock of a steering column the switching lock (36h), - squeeze latches and pull the lock back, removing it from fixing clamps.
  8. Disunite the contact socket (c) and remove the transponder.
  9. Release a clamp and disunite the contact socket (b).
  10. Release clamps of fastening of assembly of the combined understeering switch (S4) and remove the last from a shirt of a steering column (71).
  11. Uncover under the dashboard at the left.
  12. Give the lower nuts (71b) and turn out the top bolts (91a) of fastening of a shirt (71).
  13. Having given up, take off a shirt (71).
  14. Give самоконтрящуюся a nut (25d) of a fixing bolt and separate the lower shaft of a steering column (80a) from entrance knot (25) of rack transfer, - do not use the force, in case of need slightly unclench the lock the screw-driver!
  15. Having given up, remove a steering shaft (80a).
  16. Check a condition of a shaft (80a), in case of need make its replacement.
  17. Replace the damaged boot (80b), - track correctness of landing of a boot.
  18. If the shirt needs replacement, remove the ignition lock cylinder (see the Section Removal and installation of the cylinder of the lock of ignition).
  19. Installation is made upside-down, - track correctness of landing of all components. At first tighten all fixture so that the provision of a shirt could be corrected, then, having achieved the required result, tighten with the required effort at first the top bolts, then the lower nuts. Track reliability of fixing of contact sockets.
