Removal and installation of catalytic converters on diesel models

Primary catalytic converter

Details of installation of primary catalytic converter on models 163.113 (the series 612 engine)

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Details of installation of primary catalytic converter on models 163.113 (the series 612 engine) are shown on an illustration to which all references which are found in the text belong.
  2. Remove the lower section of a noise isolation.
  3. Having squeezed the Swede disk springs (see an illustration of the Detail of installation of forward section of system of production of the fulfilled gases on models 163.136 (the series 111 engine)), unbend the screw-driver a steel uvula and release spring connection of fastening of primary catalytic converter (120/1) to a pipe (111) forward sections of system of production of the fulfilled gases.
  4. Turn out a bolt (1) of fastening of primary catalytic converter (120/1)
  5. Remove the air cleaner.
  6. Release a collar of fastening of primary catalytic converter (120/1) to a turbocompressor (110).
  7. Remove the catalytic converter (120/1).
  8. Installation is made upside-down, - track reliability of a zashchelkivaniye of disk springs, you make tightening of a fixing collar after fixing of the catalytic converter on a basic arm.

Utilization of the failed catalytic converters has to be made with respect for legislative rules!

Details of installation of assembly of forward section of system of production of the fulfilled gases with the main catalytic converter on models 163.113 (the series 612 engine)

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Details of installation of forward section of system of production of the fulfilled gases with the main catalytic converter on models 163.128 (the series 628 engine) are shown on an illustration to which all references which are found in the text belong.
  2. Tire out the car on the elevator.
  3. Remove the noise-insulating element established under transmission, - do not remove the central section of a noise isolation.
  4. Having squeezed the Swede disk springs (and and b), unbend the screw-driver a steel uvula and release spring connection of fastening of a pipe of forward section of system of release to primary catalytic converter.
  5. Give nuts (3) fastenings of forward section of system of release to a basic arm (4) on transmission.
  6. Separate assembly of forward section with the catalytic converter (2) from the back muffler (6).
  7. Having given back, take assembly (2) from under the car. Check a condition of thermofilters of the bottom, replace defective units.
  8. Installation is made upside-down, - track reliability of a zashchelkivaniye of disk springs, you make tightening of a fixing collar after fixing of the catalytic converter on a basic arm.

Utilization of the failed catalytic converters has to be made with respect for legislative rules!

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Details of installation of assemblies of forward sections of system of production of the fulfilled gases with catalytic converters on models 163.128 (the series 628 engine) are shown on illustrations to which all references which are found in the text belong.
  2. Tire out the car on the elevator.
  3. Remove forward wheels and loker of protection of wheel arches.
  4. Remove the thermofilter (1), - only for the left section.
  5. Remove the noise-insulating element established under transmission, - do not remove the central section of a noise isolation.
  6. Remove the torsion bar (3).

Only the bar located from one board with the replaced section of system of production of the fulfilled gases is removed!

  1. Turn out bolts (4) arms (5), - only for the left section.
  2. Turn out a bolt (6) of an arm (7), - only the right section.
  3. Release the welded collar (8) of fastening of forward section to the muffler.
  4. Give nuts (10) of fastening of forward section to a basic arm (11) on a transmission case, - nuts are subject to replacement without fail.
  5. Prop up transmission and remove a back support of the power unit (see the Head Dvigatel).
  6. Separate forward section from a final collector / turbocompressor and the back muffler and take it from under the car.
  7. Installation is made upside-down.
