Pumping of the brake system

After carrying out repair of the brake system during which opening of its hydraulic path in the last was made air which then has to be completely removed can get. A sign of presence at working contours of the brake system of air is softness of the course of a brake pedal.

If air gets to system as a result of violation of its tightness, the cause of defect should be removed previously.

At hit of air in separately taken wheel cylinder it is enough to carry out pumping only of the corresponding support. Pumping without use of the special device

At full depletion of any of cameras of the GTTs tank (for example, as a result of violation of tightness any of paths or if liquid was not added to the tank after service performing procedures) air, podsasyvayemy in a path, inevitably in the pump ABS, - in this case pumping has to be made in conditions HUNDRED with use of the special device.

  1. Check level in the tank of brake fluid, in case of need make the corresponding adjustment (see the Head of the Power supply system and production of the fulfilled gases).

During the procedure liquid in the GTTs tank should not fall excessively, - periodically make adjustment of its level by addition of fresh!

  1. Remove a dustproof cap from the pumping gate from a support of the corresponding brake mechanism. Pull on the gate a piece of a transparent hose which free end lower in the drain capacity which is partially filled with brake fluid not to allow an air podsasyvaniye during pumping.
  2. By means of a cap key carefully weaken the gate.
  3. Ask the assistant to squeeze out several times against the stop a pedal of a foot brake and then to record it in the lower situation.
  4. Open the gate, - brake fluid will begin to follow in drain capacity. When weakening a pressure close the gate and repeat the procedure.
  5. Continue pumping until the liquid extorted from a contour completely is not exempted from air bubbles / from a hose fresh liquid will not begin to be pushed out (in case of performance of its replacement), - do not forget to check and, as required, to correct liquid level in the GTTs tank.
  6. Having finished pumping, tighten the gate, remove a hose and put into place a dustproof cap.
  7. In case of need, working in a similar manner, pump over supports of the remained brake mechanisms, - do not forget to add liquid to the GTTs tank periodically.
  8. In conclusion modify liquid level in the GTTs tank (see the Head of the Power supply system and production of the fulfilled gases) and check serviceability of functioning of the brake system and coupling.

Pumping with use of the special device

Connection of the device has to be made in strict accordance with instructions of his manufacturers, - implementation of the procedure should be charged to specialists of car service.
