 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Illustrative material according to the procedure of removal/installation of the brake amplifier is presented on illustrations to which all references which are found in the text belong if the return is not specified especially.
  2. Open a cowl and record it in vertical position.
  3. Remove panels of finishing of the power unit and a cover of the assembly block of safety locks/relay.
  4. Disconnect an electrical wiring from the GTTs (10) tank.
  5. Disconnect the vacuum line (8) from the brake amplifier (16).
  6. On diesel models release from clamps on a partition the vacuum line (8a), and also the auxiliary line.
  7. Disconnect from the vacuum pump (24) a hose (27).
  8. Release hoses (21) from an arm (28).
  9. Separate hoses from the assembly block of safety locks/relay and take away from to the engine.
  10. Previously having marked, disconnect from GTTs brake tenches (5), - at once to a zakuporta the open ends of nipple sockets.
  11. At the corresponding complete set disconnect an electrical wiring from sensors 1 and 2 of brake pressure of ESP (B4/1 and V34/2), - release clamps from the lower parties of sockets.
  12. Give самоконтрящиеся nuts (19) of fastening of GTTs (1), - nuts are subject to replacement without fail.
  13. At the corresponding complete set remove the thermofilter (1b).
  14. At the corresponding complete set remove a siren of the anticreeping alarm system from a partition of a motive compartment.
  15. Having pulled strictly horizontally, remove GTTs from the block of the brake amplifier and transfer it to a workbench.
  16. Check the cylinder for existence of signs of development of leaks from the back party of primary piston, in case of need replace assembly.
  17. On models with RKPP disconnect from the GTTs tank a hose of the operator of the drive of coupling (10b), - at once to a zakuporta the open end of the nipple socket.
  18. Pump out brake fluid from the tank (10), then, having pulled vertically, remove it from assembly of GTTs (1).
  19. Check a condition of sealing landing plugs (9), in case of need make replacement.
  20. Installation is made upside-down, - do not forget to replace a sealing ring (1a) and самоконтрящиеся nuts of fastening of the cylinder.
  21. In conclusion pump over the brake system (see the Section Pumping of the Brake System).
